Padel Island in Gudauri is Georgia's highest-altitude padel venue — at roughly 2,000 meters above sea level, on the grounds of the Marco Polo hotel, with a direct view of the Caucasus ridge. It's one of the rare places where you can play equally well after a day of skiing in winter and after a mountain hike in summer.
There are two courts: one fully enclosed, unbothered by winter snow and wind, and one outdoor court that offers, in summer's cool Gudauri air, probably the most enjoyable padel in Georgia. Because of the altitude, the ball flies slightly faster — even experienced players need the first few games to adjust.
The court belongs to the Padel Island network, which also has locations in Tbilisi (Lisi and Expo) and in Kakheti (Kachreti). The hotel grounds include a restaurant, spa, pool, and fitness center; equipment is provided on site, and booking is done online through the network's shared system. Besides hotel guests, the court is open to anyone visiting Gudauri.
