Max Samko
A padel player first — still on court three to four times a week — who turned a personal frustration with existing booking apps into PADO.
PADO started as one player's frustration with clunky booking apps — now it's the platform players, coaches, communities and club owners across Europe run their padel on.
PADO began the way a lot of good ideas do — with someone annoyed at a bad app. Max Samko had been playing padel for about three years and was hooked on the tournaments and the community around them, but not on the tools everyone was using to organize it all: laggy, badly matched, no real stats, and barely improving year over year.
He met Andriy Palunosik on the court, and the two of them agreed the fix wasn't a slightly better booking app — it was building something that actually worked for everyone in the ecosystem: players, coaches, communities, and the clubs hosting them all.
"We realized we couldn't just build one app. We needed something the club admin, the club owner, the community organizer, and the player would all be comfortable using."
Max Samko, Co-founder & CEO, PADO
The first version — booking and tournaments for players — went into beta on March 1, 2026, with a single community, "Padolbanda," in Warsaw. Growth since then has been entirely word of mouth: thousands of players in the first month, and now more than 8,000 active players running over 100 tournaments a week across 40+ cities in 7 countries — organized into nearly 80 active padel communities today.
PADO is a padel ecosystem, not just a booking screen. Every part of it is designed around one idea: make padel simpler to run, whichever seat you're in.
Real-time court availability by city, with indoor/outdoor filters and instant confirmation on "Fast booking" clubs.
A searchable coach directory filtered by city, language, and player level — from beginner and kids to advanced.
Create or join a tournament in 8+ formats, from Americano and Mexicano to niche brackets, with live standings.
A personal ELO rating, global and country rankings, and head-to-head stats that make progress visible over time.
On May 15, 2026, we launched PADO CRM — a padel CRM and club management software built for the other half of the market: club owners running bookings, coaching schedules, players, and payments without stitching together spreadsheets and chat groups.
Clubs connect their own legal entity and payments go directly to them, with no build cost and no dev team required. Clubs that join also get exposure to PADO's existing player base from day one.
"PADO is very easy to use — our admin figured it out in a single day. Finally everything is under control in one place."
