The Bay is the AFA International Center, also called the Brent W. Latham Community Center, a municipal sports and recreation complex at 1851 Galleon Street in North Bay Village, on the islands between Miami and Miami Beach along the 79th Street Causeway. The village runs it as a public facility, and the website is northbayvillage-fl.gov. The center is listed in Miami Beach for cataloging purposes but is a separate municipality. Call 305-680-6397 for questions, and our data also lists a 954 number. The padelcourtsfinder.com directory lists 4 outdoor panoramic padel courts, and we found nothing suggesting they are covered. The building is new and also has a full-size 11-a-side soccer field, a 5-a-side field, several tennis courts, a children's floor and a senior center. Google lists hours of 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM every day. Only 8 Google reviews exist, averaging 4.5. One reviewer calls the building brand new and spacious with wonderful customer service. Another says the padel courts are fine and well run but that the soccer fields are badly organized, with no pinnies or balls available. A padel player says the atmosphere is great and the courts are perfect. Resident rates may be lower than non-resident rates, but no official prices were published that we could find.
