Powerleague Romford

Powerleague Romford is a branch of the Powerleague chain of five-a-side football centres, which has been adding padel courts to its sites. It is located on King George Playing Fields off Eastern Avenue West (A12) in Romford, in the London Borough of Havering. Padel sits alongside the centre's many football pitches, which remain the main activity at the venue. Playtomic lists four covered (roofed) padel courts at the centre, so games can go ahead in wet weather, and bookings are made through Playtomic. Opening hours are 09:00 to 23:00 from Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 23:00 on Saturday and 09:00 to 22:30 on Sunday. Court prices are not published in the sources checked. The venue has a 4.5 rating from about 560 Google reviews, but almost all of them are about football and children's parties rather than padel. People praise well-maintained pitches, good lighting, friendly staff and the coaches who run birthday parties, and say the food and a café next door are useful. The two most common complaints are parking, which can be hard to find at changeover times, and toilets that one parent found dirty and short of paper. There is no padel-specific feedback yet.
