Padel Tree Arkley is a small outdoor padel site on Brickfield Lane in Arkley, on the north-western edge of the London Borough of Barnet near Barnet Gate. It is run by Padel Tree, which also has venues in Finchley and Brentford, and reviewers say the courts were converted from an old tennis court. Playtomic lists three outdoor courts. Opinion is mixed, with 3.2 stars from just 12 Google reviews. Positive reviews mention easy parking, a pleasant setting on sunny days, good value (one player calls it among the cheapest courts they've used) and a friendly owner who sometimes lets players stay on an unbooked court. On the downside, there is no clubhouse or drinks, the site is sometimes unstaffed, one reviewer complains of an uneven, sandy surface with awkward bounce, and another was unhappy that bookings can't be moved or cancelled less than 12 hours before, even when it rains.
