La Cantine Sports Club

La Cantine Sports Club is the padel side of La Cantine Beach at the Delano hotel on Bluewaters Island, opposite JBR and right on the water. It's a public club: courts are booked through Playtomic, and you don't need a beach day pass or a hotel room to play. Playtomic lists six padel courts. Five are fully outdoor and one, Court 4, is covered (roofed) with a 6-metre ceiling, which helps in the midday sun but doesn't make it air-conditioned. The flip side of an open-air seafront club is heat, and one group admitted that even an 8am session was hard going in summer.
