ESS Padel Indoor

ESS Padel Indoor is a compact indoor padel complex at the Le Meridien hotel in Al Zahiyah, the old Tourist Club Area of downtown Abu Dhabi. Playtomic lists three indoor padel courts, and bookings go through Playtomic. Indoor courts were in short supply in this part of the city, and the venue fills that gap for summer play. Early reviews are positive about the build: good court material and finish, no sand on the surface, well-judged air conditioning and lighting, and a high ceiling that leaves room for lobs. A bathroom with a shower sits just outside the court area, and there is seating around the courts for players and spectators. Staff are described as friendly and helpful. On the downside, parking around the hotel is a problem, and one visitor complains that calls went unanswered and nobody was there when they turned up. The 4.3 rating comes from 28 reviews. Google lists hours of 7:00 to midnight from Sunday to Thursday, closing earlier at 22:00 on Friday and Saturday.
