Active Al Maryah by Gaby Reca

Active Al Maryah is the Abu Dhabi base of the Gaby Reca Padel Academy, located in the Sports & Recreation area on Al Maryah Island. Playtomic lists four padel courts: two indoor air-conditioned courts and two outdoor ones, and court bookings are made through Playtomic. The indoor pair is the big draw in summer, when outdoor play in the city becomes hard work. The venue holds a perfect 5.0 rating from 268 Google reviews, which is a meaningful sample. Players praise the academy programme: weekly group training by level from beginner to intermediate, a popular ladies' session that mixes an hour of drills with half an hour of social play, and patient coaches who correct technique. Staff at reception get warm mentions, the facility is described as clean and organised, and parking is easy. The one recurring suggestion is better control of the court area, as children sometimes run around while games are on. Google lists the venue as open daily from 7:00 until midnight. Court prices are not published on any page we could check, so look them up on Playtomic or call +971 58 596 3544. It suits players who want structured coaching as well as those who just need an indoor court in the business district.
