Padel Košice – SOŠ technická

This padel court on Kukučínova Street was built on the grounds of the Secondary Technical School (SOŠ technická) in Košice, on the site of a former volleyball court. Despite being on school grounds, it's open to the general public — currently the only padel court right in central Košice.

It's a single outdoor court with an artificial turf surface, glass and mesh walls, a professional net, and benches. The court has electric lighting, so play continues after dark, extending the season into autumn. Parking is available on the school grounds.

Bookings run through the school's system, launched in September; equipment can be rented on site. For Košice residents who previously had to travel to Jahodná to play padel, this is now the most accessible option in the city — and an example of how padel in Slovakia is spreading through school and municipal facilities.
