La Pelota - Education City

La Pelota - Education City is the original site of the La Pelota padel brand, off Al Rayyan Road inside the Education City campus area. Playtomic lists five outdoor courts, bookable through Playtomic or by phone on +974 7122 1799 (shared with the brand's Lusail branch). Google lists daily opening from 06:00 to 22:30, which gives early-morning slots before the heat builds as well as evening play. As the courts are open-air, the experience depends on the season; one regular says the place is at its best when the weather is pleasant and the setting is quiet and peaceful. Court prices aren't published outside the booking app. The club also runs as a coaching academy, and that is what most reviews are about. The 5.0 score from 17 ratings is driven largely by praise for coach Juan, whom players credit with explaining technique, positioning and net play clearly and making sessions challenging but fun. Members describe joining for regular training and seeing steady progress. If you just want to rent a court, there is less feedback on the facilities themselves, so ask about changing rooms and racket rental when you book.
