The MOSiR Katowice padel court on 1 Maja Street, at the Słowian Sports Centre, markets itself as the first padel court in Katowice.

The venue is run by MOSiR, the municipal operator that manages more than thirty sports facilities across the city. That means municipal pricing rather than commercial rates — usually noticeably lower than private halls.

The single outdoor court operates mainly during the warmer part of the year, and slots fill up quickly. For residents of Szopienice, Janów, and Nikiszowiec, it's the closest padel without a trip to the centre.
