Padel in Vienna: clubs by district and location

Padel in Vienna is booming: on PADO you will find 18 padel clubs in the city, from Erdberg and the Alte Donau through Floridsdorf and Süßenbrunn to the Seestadt Aspern. If you search for 'Padel Tennis Wien', you mean the same sport: in Austria many people simply say Padel-Tennis.

The facilities are spread across several locations. In the 3rd district you can play in Erdberg and at the Vienna Sporthotel, around the Alte Donau and in Floridsdorf in the 21st district, and there is a location on the Sportinsel on the Danube Island. In the north are Süßenbrunn and the Seestadt (22nd district), in the south Alterlaa and Liesing (23rd district) and the Wienerberg in the 10th district. Add the Prater, the Schmelz, Hietzing, Ottakring and the Colony Club in Penzing.

Vienna offers both: indoor courts are available at Padeldome Erdberg (nine courts), Padeldome Süßenbrunn (eight), Padeldome Alterlaa (five), the Vienna Sporthotel (five), Racketworld Ottakring and the City & Country Club at the Wienerberg; Floridsdorf has an air-supported dome, and the Alte Donau site has six covered courts. Outdoors you can play at Padel Union in the Prater (eight courts), at Sport Center Donaucity (eight), on the Sportinsel on the Danube Island or at the Colony Club in Penzing. The main season is summer; in winter and in bad weather the halls are the better choice.

Prices depend on the club, the time and the day of the week. At several Viennese clubs a court costs between 14 and 40 euros per hour, and the court is for up to four players. On weekdays in the morning and early afternoon it is cheaper than in the evening and at weekends.

Plenty of padel is played around Vienna too: in Vösendorf, Schwechat, Klosterneuburg, Korneuburg, Baden or Traiskirchen you will find more padel clubs on PADO.
