PADELZONE Sportinsel sits on the Danube Island by the Georg-Danzer-Steg — two outdoor courts right in the middle of the city's biggest recreational area. In summer, this is arguably the most relaxed place to play padel in Vienna.
The operator sums it up: 'Treat yourself to a drink at the bar after your match and cool off in the Danube.' The site includes a beach bar with a sun terrace, plus food and drinks; racket rental costs four euros.
Play runs daily from 7:00 to 23:00 — 28 euros an hour on weekdays until 16:00, and 36 euros afterward and on weekends. There's no parking directly on site — the easiest way there is by U6 to Neue Donau or by S-Bahn to Handelskai.
