Modžo Padel

Modžo Padel on Līvkalna Street is the largest padel club in Sigulda — four outdoor courts in the southern part of town, near the Gauja ancient valley and Gauja National Park.

Four courts is a lot for a town of under eleven thousand people, and it's no accident: Sigulda is one of Latvia's most popular recreation destinations, with a bobsleigh track, castle ruins, and a nature park, drawing both locals and Riga residents on weekend trips. With this many courts, the club can host a tournament and regular bookings at the same time.

Sigulda has two unrelated padel operators — this one and Padel Sigulda on Oskara Kalpaka Street, about a kilometre and a half away. As outdoor courts, they operate in the warm season; in winter players head to Riga's indoor halls, about fifty kilometres away along the Vidzeme Highway.
