Pāvilosta Sports Padel

Pāvilosta Sports Padel is a two-court club on Dzintaru Street in Pāvilosta, on the western Kurzeme coast. The name is no accident — the street leads to the sea, and the courts stand a few hundred metres from the Baltic dunes.

With under a thousand residents, Pāvilosta is one of Latvia's smallest towns, but also its windsurfing and kiteboarding capital — its population multiplies several times over in summer. The padel courts here are a typical coastal-tourism venue: they operate in the warm season and the town goes quiet in winter.

The same wind that draws surfers to Pāvilosta also affects the padel game — this is one of the windiest courts in Latvia. The next nearest courts are Rozbirzes Seaside twenty kilometres to the south and Padel Liepāja another fifty kilometres down the coast.
