PADEL KLATOVY

Padel Klatovy claims the first padel court in western Bohemia. Three courts — one outdoor and two covered — stand at the Ball Sports Center on U Elektrárny street on the edge of town, below the Šumava mountains.

Play runs from nine in the morning to ten at night. An hour costs five hundred crowns, racket rental fifty, balls one hundred fifty. Covered courts mean the season doesn't end with the first rain, which matters for a foothill town.

The Ball Sports Center is more than padel: there's a climbing wall, beach volleyball, a gym, a clubroom, a training room and, notably, its own accommodation. That makes Klatovy work as a weekend padel destination, not just a one-hour stop — the club also offers corporate team-building with catering, individual and group training, and equipment sales and rental.
