Padel in Turkey is growing fast: PADO lists 105 padel clubs in 20 cities. Istanbul has the most, with 36 clubs, followed by Izmir (11), Antalya (10) and Bodrum (10). Cesme, Ankara and Alanya also have a dense network of courts, and you can play in Belek, Manavgat, Fethiye, Kusadasi, Urla, Bursa and other cities too.
Padel is played by four players on a 20 × 10 metre court enclosed by glass and metal mesh. The ball can be played off the walls after it bounces; the racket is shorter than a tennis racket, strungless and perforated, and the ball is a little softer. That makes it easy to start, and after a few minutes you are already playing long rallies.
You can play on indoor and outdoor courts. In holiday areas such as Antalya, Belek, Bodrum and Cesme, free slots fill up quickly in the summer season, so it is a good idea to book ahead. Prices vary by club, time of day and day of the week; you can see the current price on each club's PADO page.
On PADO you can compare clubs, prices and booking options across the whole country in one place, see every court on the map, and find tournaments and coaches near you.

At some point it became clear that the problem was no longer how to run another tournament. They needed a system that would let them manage a large padel community in Warsaw properly.

Why tournaments with groups and playoffs are worth running in a padel community, how to work out participants, courts, matches and the schedule, and how PADO simplifies large tournaments.
Padel is a racket sport for four players, played on a small court enclosed by glass and metal walls. The ball can be played off the walls after it bounces, so rallies are longer and it is easier to start than tennis.
The serve is underhand, after the ball bounces, and goes diagonally into the opponent's service box. Scoring is like tennis: 15, 30, 40, game. After the ball bounces you can play it off the walls, but it must then go over the net; hitting a wall directly before the ball bounces is not allowed. Padel is always played in doubles.
A padel court is 20 metres long and 10 metres wide, and the glass and metal walls around it are 3-4 metres high. That is much smaller than a tennis court.
Prices depend on the club, the time of day and the day of the week. Weekday daytime slots are usually cheaper than evenings and weekends. The price is for one court and is shared between up to four players. You can see current prices on each club's PADO page.
On PADO you can find padel clubs in Istanbul, Izmir, Antalya, Bodrum, Cesme, Ankara, Alanya, Belek, Manavgat, Fethiye, Kusadasi, Urla, Bursa, Izmit, Adapazari, Canakkale, Denizli, Gaziantep, Diyarbakir and Antakya.
Choose a club and a free slot on PADO and book the court online. The booking method can differ from club to club; each club's page explains how to book.
No. Many clubs rent out or lend rackets. For your first game, sports shoes and comfortable clothes are enough. Check the club's page for details.

Americano is a social tournament format: you play with a new partner each round and individual points add up. Beginners and advanced players get to play with each other a lot, and it is easy to find new playing partners. Many clubs run these evenings regularly.
No. A padel court is smaller, the walls are part of the game, the racket is a strungless solid paddle, the ball is a little softer, and it is always played in doubles. That usually makes it easier for beginners than tennis.
